A Marble Stele Depicting Chamunda,
Gujarat, Western India, 11th/12th century.
The emacitaed goddess standing in tribhanga on a prostrate figure subdued by two attendants, holding trident and staff (khatvanga), her fragmentary left hand pointing to her fangs, flanked by three tiers of columnar niches housing the other six saptamatrikas, an arched scrolling leafy torana above, with a central figure holding a staff, mounted.
