Of triangular form, one side carved in relief with the head of a mythical lion with horns and bulging eyes, scrolling flames issuing from its mouth, the lower edge carved with a frieze of geese arranged in a procession, mounted.

The sun god standing erect, holding a sunflower in each of his raised hands, wearing elaborate tall crown, earrings, necklaces, belt and sash, his feet clad in his characteristic pointed boots, flanked by diminutive figures of Danda and Pingala holding arrows, his two consorts, Rajni and Nikshuba, standing behind, also holding lotus flowers, the celestial horse-headed twins, Asvinikumara and Asvinau above, mounted.
