Hand written letter & signed by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, written to the Chief Commissioner of the Mandalay Jail, requesting the Chief Commissioner to visit him as he had a conflict with the Acting Superintendent of the Jail. Netaji was jailed in October of 1924 & was first kept in the Alipore Jail and then exiled to Mandalay where he spent nearly 3 years, he was released in May 1927.
