Punch-marked Coins, Gandhara Janapada, 6th century BC, Silver, Bent Bar, Shatamana, 11.3 g, 40x9 mm (Rajgor 2001, Series 35). Double symbol type, narrow flan, a nice bent for the Bent Bar. Cleaned, Very Fine+, Rare.

Punch-marked Coins, Magadha Janapada, 6th century BC, Silver, 4.3 g, Vimashatika, four symbol type with sun, star, elephant to right and decorated Nandiapada. Uncleaned, Very Fine+, Unpublished, Extremely Rare.Four symbol series of the Magadha Janapada is known only in the weight standard of 5.5 g (Rajgor# Series 10). But this is for the first time that this coin is an unpublished variety of a series that was issued between Series 10 & 11, i.e Heavy weight standard of 5.5 g and light weight standard of 3.5 g. An unusal addition in Punch-marked coins.
