Lines of black ink nagari verse in top and bottom border gold cartouches. Multiple inner borders and ruled lines. A maroon outer border with gold floral designs. Gold cartouches in the top and bottom borders.Two folios from an illustrated series of the Satsai (Seven Hundred Verses) of the early Seventeenth Century Hindi poet Bihari. Related series illustrating the Nayika Bhed theme which categorize the relationships between nayika and nayaka (heroine and hero) are the Rasikapriya of Keshavdas and the Rasamanjari of Bhanudatta.
