A Bronze Shrine depicting Virabhadra with Daksha and Sati, Deccan,
18th century
On tiered lotus base resting on claw feet, each figure separately cast and fitting into the shrine, the larger central figure of Virabhadra holding sword and shield, standing within a flaming torana, with kirtimukha finial and five headed cobra canopy, the smaller figures of his daughter Sati and the goat-headed Daksha on either side within pointed arched niches.
